  • I am from non IT background, but I have fair knowledge of statistics. When I enquired about data science course training institute suggested me to go for business analyst course. What is basic difference between two? What should be the right path for career in data science?

  • I have the same queries as Sam. But haven’t got any reply from Edureka..
    1) Is Data Scientist profile more to do with Development and coding and Data Analyst more to do with Reporting and Presentation of data with business insights and advises.
2)If so, the knowledge of the BI tools will vary as a Data Scientist would be more interested in the technical part of say Hadoop and a Data Analyst will be more interested in the functional part or how to use Hadoop for Analysing data.
3)Is Data Analyst the same as Business Analyst.

  • 1. Is Data Science only for those with BI / Data skills or people with testing knowledge can get into Data Science stream?
2.How can we position ourselves to fight for Data Science jobs given we have no experience (in Data Science) but have IT experience?
    3. Will age be a limiting factor to get into data science?
